We are the only major online eyeglass retailer to produce 100% of our prescription lenses in the United States. We manufacture directly with an American lens factory that, until now, only produced prescription lenses for private optical shops in the U.S. While most online retailers manufacture overseas, we only provide American made eyeglass lenses.

How do I provide my prescription?

Once your order is placed, you'll receive an email. Hit reply and attach a photo of your prescription with your PD written on it. Done!

What kind of prescription lens do I order? 

If you're a progressive lens wearer, you'll see your reading power on the prescription. It is typically listed as "Add" or "Add power" and has numbers similar to this: 1.50, 1.75, 2.00, 2.25, 2.75, 3.00, etc.  

If you're uncertain about needing a progressive lens, take a look at your prescription. If the "Add" or "Add power" section is blank, you will order a Single Vision lens. 

What about the measurements my optometrist office usually takes?

Today, all that's needed to order prescription lenses online is a copy of your prescription. Don't have your "PD" measurement (aka pupillary distance)? Not a problem. Use our virtual eyeglass try on! You'll see a PD button. Just click it and capture your PD measurement. 

PD pro tip: once you get your PD, write it on your prescription copy. That way, we'll have all the info we need to get your prescription eyewear to you quickly. 

For progressive lens wearers, our new no-distortion progressive style lens does not require the 'seg height' measurement you're used to getting. This technology was developed in 2021 and has been wowing progressive lens wearers ever since. 

What if I just want reading glasses?

We've got reading glasses covered. Any frame on may be used as a reader too. If you find a frame you absolutely love, order it as a reader!

How do I know if the frames I like will fit? 

Our virtual try on removes the guess work. We've written an article to help you decide what size and style of frame will work well for you.

What if my new frame needs to be adjusted? 

Everyone is shaped just a little differently, and most of us have uneven ears, so sometimes a quick adjustment to a new frame is needed for the best comfort. Our natural acetate frames and metal frames are extremely easy for you to adjust yourself and hold onto adjustments well, as opposed to other online frames that are made of cheaper acetate or injection molded plastic. Timing and returns

How long will it take once I order my glasses online?

On average, your new prescription lenses ship to you in 5-9 business days. 

Can I return my glasses? 

Yes. Frames in re-sellable condition (not worn) may be returned or exchanged within 14 days. You are responsible for return shipping. Returned frames will be inspected and you will be notified if you will receive a refund or exchange. Refunds will be deposited back onto the original payment method. Prescription lenses are final sale because they are a custom made product and cannot be re-used.
